Dimsum tales

Dimsum tomorrow?
asked Daphne and Aby.

I said yes, one for the awesome change in diet and menu, two for the memory of good chinese breakfast and three..

I guess I kinda miss home. And mum plus dad.It is so painful and hard to just pick up the phone and call mum and dad anymore, particularly after so many shit and dissapointment I have cast on them, particularly my extraordinare feat in the academics in the first term of college, things have been pretty quiet and awkward.

Mum used to love waking me up early by brushing my hair, sometimes even climb on the bed with me and fall asleep together when I was still a little girl, bring me out for breakfast and shop for things in parts of town nobody would go. She would just be in time for the first ring of the afternoon school bell, and I would be thrilled for not taking the bus that day. For many years that I was in afternoon school or the weekends, I would wake up early and thinking my sleep-in was a big sacrifice, pull a sleepy head and body for the morning food excursions with my parents.

Coming to study far away from them, seeing them age and slowing down, seeing them together, I would love to wake up without hesitation every single morning just to see them enjoy thier breakfast, a hot cup of cuppa and the morning newspapers...I wish I understood many more things back then...

I will once I bring back good results for them.
